The Lord brought him to Virginia and after some tumultuous years, he landed with the Department of Treasury and married Joan.  George and Joan attended her downtown Baptist church and also Peace United Methodist Church.  They did not sense the mission and consistency of Scripture they were looking for and were led to SPC.  After some medical difficulties, George retired early and has continued in volunteer in various church ministries.  George is quick to tell folks that he has found a home of truth and mission and he and Joan look forward to spending their remaining years at SPC.
