The Chancel Choir of SPC is a group of high school, college, and older adults who love to sing.  The choir rehearses weekly and offers anthems at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday service.  They have also presented music at other times such as Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, special Advent and Christmas programs, etc.  One unique event was the joint concert with the adult choir of The Presbyterian Church of Fredericksburg at SPC's 25th anniversary celebration on May 23, 2010.

The choir sings a wide range of literature from Gregorian chant to great classics to spirituals to contemporary pieces and rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 pm.  The choir has an active spiritual life and spends time at each rehearsal praying for each other, families, co-workers, and others in need.
