Fifth graders receive Bibles from Children's Ministry Today, the Children's Ministry Team is pleased to have the fifth grade teachers, Jack Clevenger and David Way, hand out gift Bibles to all our fifth graders. As they move to middle school in the fall, we pray God's blessings on them as they open His Word, and continue to grow in the Truth. Bibles will be handed out at the 9:45 and 11:15 worship services at SPC, and at Christ Covenant.
SAM Matinee at Riverside Dinner Theater - Thoroughly Modern Millie SAM is hosting this production at the Riverside Dinner Theater at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, April 13, for dinner and show. Refer to the February issue of the SPC Post for more details. The cost is $42 per person which includes the dinner, show and gratuities. Sign up with a check (NO CASH) made out to SPC for $42 and "SAM event - Riverside" on the memo line and place in the communication box (not in the offering plate) no later than April 1. This event will replace our normal monthly Sunday brunch.
Youth "Jam Session" for middle school and high school youth who sing or play an instrument. If you would like to play some worship music with other people but you're not sure when, where, or how, this is the place to start. We will meet in the Youth Area at 5 p.m. this afternoon. Bring your instrument. If you are a drummer, bring yourself and pair of sticks. Come out and wing it with rest of us whether you are experienced or just getting started!
On the Edge @ Ligonier Students currently enrolled in grades 5-8 are eligible to participate in "On the Edge," August 10-14. "On the Edge" is a week of camp at Ligonier designed specifically for youth groups and their leaders. We are currently collecting deposits. If you are interested in learning more please contact Tim Habecker at the church.
Contrary to Popular Belief... High School Youth Group and Middle School Bible Study are NOT scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 or Wednesday, March 26. The "Youth Yak" was incorrect. The youth ministry's regular Wednesday night schedule will resume on April 2.
Fabulous Fun For Females!! Ladies, don't forget to mark your calendar ladies, the 2008 SPC Women's Conference, Friends and Flexibility, is April 18 and 19, right here at SPC. This will be a great time of fellowship and spiritual growth, and you get to stay in town this year. The cost is low ($12) and the benefits are high. Brochures are available in the Narthex, Fellowship Hall Foyer and the New Comers' Nook. Early registrations are welcome.
An Opportunity to Serve The planning team for the Women's Conference could use some help in the following areas: decorating, set-up/clean-up, registration table, sign-in table, and possible other areas.
Communion Preparation Volunteers Needed There are sign-up sheets on the bulletin board across from the Upper Room for Categories 1, 2, 3, and 4. Each of the categories provides support for Communion services. Any questions? Please contact Andy Dorman, Elder for Worship or Ann Harris.

Practically Speaking How can you support world missions from your home or office? By donating used Inkjet Cartridges! A cardboard box on the credenza outside Fellowship Hall is specially marked, and contains a list of qualifying inkjet cartridges. We mail them to Food for the Poor, and our Haiti mission receives rice to distribute. Thank you to all who have donated in the past, and welcome to any new donors. Questions? The Trolley is Running On Easter Sunday, we will have a return visit of the Fredericksburg Trolley to transport people from the school parking lot to the church. You may park at the school between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and the Trolley will escort you to the church. This is a fun experience (especially for the kids) as well as a way to help provide parking on site for our visitors and friends with special needs. Thanks for considering the use of the Trolley.

Easter Sunday Services - 7:00 a.m. sunrise service. 8:15, 9:45, and 11:15 services; 10:30 at Christ Covenant
There will be no Wednesday night dinner or program at church
Holy Week (March 19) or the week after (March 26).
