"Sunday Lunch with Friends"

Seniors are invited to join with friends for lunch at 12:45 p.m. the second Sunday of each month.  We usually meet at Ryan's Steakhouse, and occasionally at other restaurants.  Watch the bulletin for details.

Senior Adult Ministry (S.A.M.) Fellowship Events

In addition to the monthly Sunday Lunch with Friends, Senior Adult Ministries meets at the Riverside Dinner Theater for lunch and a play several times a year, at least two picnics, and also sponsor bus trips to local and short distant trips to attend dinners and theater productions (including fantastic trips to Lancaster, PA, to attend performances at the Millennium Theater and Living Waters Theater).  We support and participate in all ministries and activities of the church.  Our community outreach includes Red Cross Blood Drives, sponsoring AARP Senior Drivers Safety Programs, and many other activities.  We invite you to give us your name and address to join us as members.

SPC Senors are invited and encouraged to attend the Senior Adult Retreat sponsored by the Presbytery of the James to be held at the Camp Hanover on Thursday, October 14 2010.  The theme for the 2010 retreat will be "Be Still and Know God."  For more information, see the POJ information page, download the retreat information brochure or contact Dick Ridge by e-mail or phone (540-371-4697).
