Church Staff

The staff of Spotsylvania serves the congregation with leadership, training, and administrative support so the the congregation can more effectively worship the Lord, serve the world and this community, and share the message of God's grace.

Rev. Alan Hager

Pastor

A native of Rochester, New York, Rev. Alan R. Hager is a graduate of Grove City College (Grove City, Pennsylvania) and Princeton Theological Seminary (Princeton, New Jersey). Prior to coming to Spotsylvania, Rev. Hager worked with Young Life for two years and Coalition for Christian Outreach in Ohio for five years. He was then Associate Pastor at Graystone Presbyterian Church in Indiana, Pennsylvania, for four years.

Alan has served as Pastor at Spotsylvania Presbyterian Church since 1994. His wife Katherine, and children Kristen and Michael reside in Spotsylvania County. His hobbies and interests include softball, basketball, skiing, golf, tennis, along with reading and fishing.

Many hours of volunteer time augment the work of the office staff. Congregational volunteers help with mailings, computer input, bulletins, and answering phones.
